Death. Over. Bondage
" Facing a choice between the end of something familiar ( a habit a relationship, a career, or era) and the stagnation of the status quo is one of life's most profound crossroads. This tension typically pits the fear of the unknown against the pain of remaining stuck. "
This long sleeve was inspired by a Buddhist monk named Thích Quảng Đức who burnt himself alive while meditating as a form of protest against the violent persecution of Buddhists in 1963 Vietnam.
The after math of this immense act of self-sacrifice was a surge of Global awareness towards Vietnam & it's complex internal issues.
This snowballed into the collapse of the regime responsible for the persecution and corruption.
Saving thousands, if not millions of lives.
" The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men & women to do nothing. "
